EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Fazzi Associates has been retained to conduct the search for the Executive Director of Salisbury Visiting Nurse Association in Salisbury.  The Executive Director, reporting to a volunteer Board of Directors, is responsible for the leadership and successful management and performance of the agency.  Salisbury VNA, a not-for-profit organization with a 104-year history, provides certified home health, hospice and private duty services.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in Business Administration, Health Care Management, Nursing or related field, progressive management experience in a health care delivery setting (preferably home health) with experience in senior management, strong leadership skills, and experience working with a volunteer Board of Directors.

Supervisor of Assisted Living Services

Unique opportunity for an RN as the first SALSA for The Adel R. Coccomo Residential Center assisted living community.  This beautiful new assisted living community is located in Haddam, CT.  The Supervisor of Assisted Living Services (SALSA), is responsible for the coordination and management of the ALSA.  This is an opportunity to build your own team and participate in the design of the agency.

Requirements include:  Current Connecticut RN license, minimum of one year home care experiance, basic computer knowledge, positive attitude toward staff, other members of the manegement team, current and future residents.  A BSN is preferred, management experience is preferred but neither are required.

The salary is competitive.  The work week is Monday through Friday with some flexibility of hours.  There is no on-call requirement.  The work environment is beautiful, pleasant and supportive.

This position reports directly to the Administrator.
